On your arrival in Kochi, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Munnar, the verdant Paradise of Kerala with an unending expanse of tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. Check in at your hill resort and spend the afternoon at leisure. You could also pay a visit to Munnar town and its surroundings.
Today after breakfast, head to Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for enjoying the serene landscapes of Munnar, and Kundala Lake a natural lake set in the heart of the Western Ghats. You will also have the chance to visit Munnar’s Echo Point and tea plantations. In the afternoon you can visit the Eravikulam National Park where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Later drive back to your resort and stay overnight.
Leave Munnar for Thekkady, one of the biggest wildlife destinations in Kerala. It is also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of the Western Ghats to reach this jungle destination. Check in to your hotel and later go for an optional Kathakali show, spice plantation visit, elephant ride, or an Ayurvedic massage treatment. You could also take an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. You will also have the chance to spot wild animals like the elephant, bison, sambar and deer.
After breakfast you will check out of your resort and drive to Alleppey; known as Venice of the east famous for its vast back water stretches and paddy fields. Stay overnight at Alleppey.
From Alleppey you will transfer to Cochin. Take a sightseeing tour of the city with visits to Fort Cochin which has a rich heritage and strong historical relationship with the English, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabs, Chinese etc., the Dutch Palace, Asia’s best-preserved synagogue, Chinese fish nets, sea mouth and the beach walk way.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel & check out for your transfer to Cochin International Airport/ Railway station for your onward journey.
